H. 118 - W. 141.5 cm
Probably a 17th-century revival of the composition, of the same dimensions (canvas; 119 x 143 cm) from the Berlin Museum (1507), the latter taking up with important variations, notably in the presence of the landscape visible behind Christ, the earlier version (1506) from the Museum of the Academy of Venice (canvas; 122 x 141 cm) located in an inn (Giovanna Nepi Scirè, The Galleries of the Accademia of Venice, no. 12, p.193 - Electa 1998).
As in the Berlin painting, the painter's name is placed in a small cartouche with a white background on the exposed foot of the pilgrim's seat on the right.
