Important and fine silk ghoum (Iran) signed, circa 1985.
Silk velvet on a silk foundation. Emerald field with volutes of flowered palmettes decorated with a very large central floral rosette in the shape of an old gold diamond sun.
Four spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion.
Triple borders including old gold with flowering palmette seedlings in pastel shades.
