In-4°, lavaliere morocco, dishes decorated with cold geometric compositions and gilded, surrounded by golden lines continuing on the back, ivory morocco square in the center of the first dish, gilded edges, inner morocco frame, gilded paper endpapers, covers and back, bordered case (M. Bernard, 1936). Luxurious edition decorated with 92 colour compositions based on paintings, drawings and Hoggar sketches by PAUL-ÉLIE DUBOIS, engraved on wood by Pierre Bouchet. Each chapter begins with a beautiful lettering painted on a gilded arabising decoration. Edition at 162 copies, this one of the 120 nominative for the members of the Circle, with a suite of 7 illustrations replaced and enriched with a black illustration.
