TALICH (Caucasus), late 19th century
An ivory field with stylized flowers and diamonds supports three columns of hexagonal entomological shapes with hooks (representing the legs). The hearts are adorned with polylobated flowers and polychromatic stars of the Medes. The main marine border with geometric compositions and multicoloured gems is flanked by two bluish saw-tooth brick counter borders.
Pleasant marriage of the palette.
