Central Java INDONESIA, 10th century. Important high relief representing three deities and two yakshas. The two deities on the left are holding a bowl in their hands. They wear tiaras and high crowns and are dressed in long central pleated loincloths. The stage is framed by two flippers. The round-shaped assistants are sitting next to them, waving a plant fan. Volcanic stone from Java. Size: 105 cm x 63 cm, thickness: 19 cm. Mounted on an important base. Total dimensions with base: height: 156 cm x 106cm x 32 cm. Condition: visible breaks and gaps.
