The Fall. Story. Paris, Gallimard, 1956. In-12 (180 x 113 mm) of 169 pp., 1 f.n.ch.; half sorrow wine, cover and back preserved. Original edition. One of the 235 on large, pure Lafuma Navarre vellum paper (second paper), this one numbered 57. "[The Fall] is undoubtedly Camus' most disconcerting work, due to its enigmatic content and its unique form of "dramatic monologue". Its title refers to the theme of innocence and guilt" (Laffont-Bompiani). Very good copy.
