This carved and gilded wooden console has a wide openwork apron on a belt surmounted by a palmette and mantling on a base with crosspieces. The base is composed of four console feet, ending in clogs and decorated with pastilles and acanthus leaves. They are connected to each other by a spacer flanked by acanthus leaves and a shell. The whole is topped with a royal red marble top
