Rare terracotta bas-relief representing the "Crucifixion of Jesus" (Jn 19:16-37) in a composition on three registers; in the foreground, in the centre, the weeping Virgin supported and comforted by Mary wife of Clopas and Mary of Magdala recognizable by her long hair, there is also Joseph, John and Saint Veronica. In the background, three crosses on Golgotha; that of Christ, and those of the two criminals crucified with him on either side. The walls of Jerusalem and some horsemen occupy the background of the scene.
