Statutes of the Order of St Michel Paris, De l'Imprimerie Royale, 1725. In-4. Period binding in full brown calfskin with triple gilded mesh framing the dishes, gilded Royal French Arms in the centres, five-ribbed back decorated with floral cartouches and friezes of scrolls, with title piece. Golden tr. Leaf paper folders and flower friezes with small iron. E.g. with large margins. An engraved title of COCHIN, and three out of text plates of SIMONNEAU fils (opposite pp. XIV, 170 and 376). Wetting at the top right of the sheets, widening from p. 199, with moulds. Several pages burnished. Brown spots or streaks on several sheets. Accidents and missing bindings, especially on the second plate, which is very damaged.
