In-8, XLVIII, 852 pp. red-brown morocco, brass band dish with dotted decoration, arms in the centre, back with nerves decorated with golden boxes with a small fleur-de-lis in a medallion, all very gilded, polychrome gold paper guards and linings with flower and foliage decoration. Illustrated with a frontispiece title, letters and three non-text engravings by Jean-Baptiste Scotin. EXAMPLE RELATED TO THE WEAPONS OF MARIE LECZINSKA, Queen of France, wife of Louis XV. Nice edition of this office dedicated to the Queen. Guard cut, page torn, stains, tears, binding wear.
