Proofs corrected for The Potomak, "Final Edition",[1924]; 8 folded in-plane cupboards (240 x 160 mm.), numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 7, 9, 10 and 11 (end missing; fragile paper, crease cracks and fright). Corrected cupboards for the final edition of the Potomak. Six years after the first edition, Jean Cocteau drew up the final text of his Potomak, published in 1919 by the Société littéraire de France. This second edition, partly original, was published by Stock-Delamain under the title Le Potomak 1913-1914 preceded by a 1916 prospectus. The title page was pasted at the top, and Cocteau mentioned in his hand "Final Edition", changed the name of the publisher ("Stock"), and indicated a handwritten nomenclature to consult to establish the list of his works. On these cupboards, there are more than 370 corrections in black ink by Cocteau: typographical indications, words or sentences modified, added or deleted. Cocteau always looking for perfection. We attach a small photograph of J. Cocteau, and 5 exhibition opening cards or greetings.
