CHURCHILL WINSTON (1874-1965). Lot n° 34

Signed document, signed « Winston S. Churchill », also signed three times by his son Randolph CHURCHILL, and by 11 other British and French fi gures, [Paris] 6 January 1940 ; 21 x 15,5 cm, with a drawing. Illustrated menu for a diner in honour of Churchill, signed by the attendees with an autograph note signed and dated by Alphonse GEORGES. Other signatures include the physicist Frederick Alexander LINDEMANN, Generals Henri BINEAU and John George SWAYNE, the future General André NAVEREAU, J. Pabst, Paul Morel, etc. Randolph Churchill signed the menu again on 6 November 1958 and 21 July 1966. The cover is illustrated by a watercolor drawing showing a seaman on a British war ship.
