The ~5,000-year-old tomb in Herefordshire, England has reportedly been linked to the mythical King Arthur since before the 13th century. Now, the first-ever excavations of the site are set to reveal its true history, with a previous dig outside the monument suggesting it was part of a larger complex. (Smithsonian Mag)

Translations of fragments of a 13th-century manuscript, discovered by chance at a library in Bristol, England, proffer a twist upon the story of Merlin, Arthur’s wizard. Documenting Merlin’s ascendance as Arthur’s advisor, the manuscript constitutes part of the Vulgate Cycle, written in northern France. (Smithsonian)

The Parisian auction house Beaussant Lefèvre has become Beaussant Lefèvre et Associés. Operating since 1990 at Drouot, Éric Beaussant and Pierre-Yves Lefèvre are expanding their business by joining forces with three young auctioneers: Arthur de Moras, Vincent Heraud and Théo Lavignon.
