The Château de Fontainebleau acquires a Louis XV chest of drawers for one million euros

The Château de Fontainebleau acquired the last piece of Louis XV furniture held in a private collection in France. It is a work by Gilles Joubert, created for the sovereign's bedroom at the château, and was delivered to the Garde-Meuble in 1754. This piece is extremely rare and classified as a national treasure.
