Early on January 30, thieves smashed the glass door of Couleur Gallery to steal ten of the surrealist’s sculptures, and several drawings, all on loan from a Swiss collection. While the works are valued from $22,000-$55,000, they will be difficult to sell as the robbers left behind their authenticity certificates.
