Apart from Pierre Jeanneret and his two easy chairs, sold for €14,375, Picasso was the winner in this 20th century special on Saturday, June 27 at Fontainebleau (Osenat).

It took €8,750 to secure this dish in the 1948 "black face" service, one of an edition of 100 sporting the Madoura marks (diam. 42.5 cm, 16.7 in). In the painting section, André Derain landed €7,975 for an oil, Bouquet de roses (31 x 36 cm, 1 x 1.6 ft), while Portrait de mademoiselle Lise Brissaud, c. 1928, drawn by Bernard Boutet de Monvel in black pencil and watercolour (44 x 44 cm, 17.3 x 17.3 in), garnered €6,500 (44 x 44 cm, 17.3 x 17.3 in). At €5,375, furniture took on a few curves with an armchair by Kenzo Tange in thermoformed plywood covered in tweed, edited by Tendo Mokko.
