With summer just around the corner, Paris Gallery Weekend is back. A look at an essential date in the calendars of Parisian collectors.

Founded by Marion Papillon under the title “Choices” in 2014, the Paris Gallery Weekend was taken under the wing of the CPGA (Professional Committee of Art Galleries) in 2021. The end of the selection process (now the only requirement to join the CPGA is to participate in the event) and the pandemic-related lockdowns led to an explosion in the number of galleries getting together for a weekend in a coordinated, open-minded spirit. It’s an opportunity for Parisian, provincial and foreign collectors and the public alike to discover a major part of the capital's prolific offering.
