Nine galleries will present Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Near Eastern, Islamic and Pre-Columbian antiquities: the Netherlands’ Alexander Ancient Art, London-based Arteas Ltd, Cahn and Plektron of Switzerland Fine Arts and Dodier, Eberwein, Furstenberg, Tarantino and Maison Auclert from Paris. The fair puts a premium on transparency, provenance verification and serious vetting to restore collectors’ trust after the scandals that have tainted the sector. The committee comprises independent experts, researchers and curators. Round tables will offer archaeologists, curators, restorers, scientists, dealers and other specialists an opportunity to discuss their work and current issues. Admission is free.
