Travel was a constant source of inspiration for this painter from the Loire. One of his last trips took him to the land of the Aztecs. It inspired several works, two of which are presented in this sale.

Olivier Debré was above all a landscape painter. As a child, he would take his easel to the beaches of Le Lavandou in the South of France and paint facing the sea.
