The California edition of Frieze was held at the Paramount Pictures Hollywood studios.

After London and New York, it didn't take long for the latest version of Frieze to find its feet on the US West Coast. In Los Angeles, contemporary art is in acquired territory, and the participation of celebrities like Natalie Portman and Leonardo DiCaprio only added further glitz to this second edition. The Paramount Studios hosted 77 galleries - seven more than in 2019 - and though the majority were American, major European dealers like White Cube, Perrotin, Ropac and others consolidated their status as regulars.
