Anyone wanting to see this sketch of Christ by Rembrandt (one of the seven extant) will have to visit its new home, the Abu Dhabi Louvre, which is presenting it as a preview in its exhibition "Rembrandt, Vermeer and the Dutch Golden Age" (until 18 May). Meanwhile, the pagan banquet in the "Marriage of Cupid and Psyche" is now joining seven other works by Joachim Wtewael in Utrecht's Centraal Museum, which has had its eye on the little Mannerist copper painting since 1933. The work garnered a spanking $5,944,000 at Sotheby's New York on 30 January, thanks to generous support.
