Follows list, with prices, of "Canvas delivered" on March 6: Snow Effect (800); and April 2: 8 panels at 100 (800), 9 at 300 (2700), 2 Jardin matin (2000), Giverny (800), Epte printemps (900), Italie neige (800), Citrons (700); total 9100.
Attached is a photographic portrait of Monet by Paul NADAR (14.5 x 10.5 cm, mounted on card in the name of Nadar Paris, 17.5 x 13 cm; qqs slight scratches). Beautiful portrait of Monet taken in Paul Nadar's studio in early December 1899. In a letter to the photographer (December 10, 1903), Monet wrote of his "predilection for portraits of complete simplicity, without any primer", as seen here.
