Jean DUNAND (1877-1942). Frog on a water lily leaf - circa 1906. Gilded bronze sculpture with red shaded patina. Signed on the base. H: 4 ; W: 8.5 ; D: 8 cm. Provenance: - Given by Jean Dunand to bookbinder François-Louis Schmied (1873-1941) - Still in his family. Note: This piece can be compared with the lower part of Jean Dunand's 1906 frog vase, a copy of which is in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (inv. 14278).
