Boulle marquetry HANGER decorated with acanthus scrolls, flowering vases and engraved brass checkerboard on brown tortoiseshell backgrounds. It is topped with a figure of "Renommée". The front is adorned with a draped woman, a stork and a palmette. It stands on espagnolette feet. The bronze dial features twelve enameled cartouches indicating the hours in Roman numerals.
