BRAYLENS was a banker born and died in La Réole (1830-1878). He had a political career in his home town, and was a member of the Conseil Général de la Gironde in his final years. In addition to a large number of articles in various local newspapers, he published 2 booklets similar to this one: "Dix minutes d'arrêt" and "Un pied en Espagne" (Féret, Statistique III 97).
