A rarity, well bound. We have never seen this booklet before.
LAGREZE was born in Pau in 1811. His mother was a niece of Bernadotte. From substitute to prosecutor, he made a career in the Southwest, from Mont-de-Marsan to Bagnères de Bigorre. Le Blant, who wrote his entry for the Dictionary of Biography, urges caution regarding the author's historical works. Only "Société et les Moeurs en Béarn" wins his approval.
