A la librairie des Champs-Elysées, Paris, no date (1932) - A very fine edition of Voltaire's most famous text, illustrated here with 65 etchings by Gus Bofa, one of the artist's finest productions. One of the numbered copies on vellum paper, signed in justification by the artist, with a suite of etchings, in black, with remarks.
Very neat later binding, signed Th, Roux in full blue morocco with smooth spine, author, title, date and artist in gilt lettering on spine, gilt head, spine folder in same morocco overlay and matching lined slipcase, perfect condition. Interior also very fresh and totally free of foxing.
