A book written in Latin by Marcus Tullius Cicero the Roman, to his son Marco, On the virtues and duties of a good and righteous man, which was published by Mr. Johansen von Schwartzenbergs (et al.). and, by the way, brought into civilized high German, with many figures and German ryms, for the common good, have been put into print... Second impression of the first edition of Neuber's translation (first Feb. 16, third Dec. 7). - Missing 5 num. Leaves missing: XXI, XXII, XXV, XXIX, XLIV, as well as the w. Leaf at the end. - 7 leaves with marginal defects and some loss of text and illustrations (title, preface, I, IX, XIII, XIV, XV), 36 further leaves with marginal defects. (without loss of text). Some spotting (1 leaf stronger) and small marginal tears. Approx. 10 leaves with marginalia in ink.
