Order of the Dragon of Annam, patent from Emperor Bảo Đại conferring the grand-cross of his order on the Bey of Tunis, Ahmed II Pacha Bey. Typed ordinance on double sheet headed with the imperial cipher on an embossed and gilded dragon, dated. 14th year, 10th month, 15th day of the Bảo Đại era (November 25, 1939), imperial seal in red ink. "We, Emperor of Annam order: His Majesty Ahmed Pasha Bey of Tunisia is the noble and illustrious Sovereign of a friendly country whose glory and virtues radiate throughout the world. On two occasions, We have had the great pleasure of visiting the beautiful capital of His Kingdom during Our travels in Europe, and of finding on each occasion the warmest and most sincere welcome from His delegates. We are therefore particularly pleased to confer on H.M. Ahmed Pacha Bey the highest distinction of Our National Order of the Dragon of Annam, with a patent on embroidered silk, as a token of Our profound sympathy. Respect to this." 31.2 x 22 cm. Folds.
