Part of the HUNTING SERVICE of King Louis-Philippe for the castle of Fontainebleau
It is composed of 11 flat plates and 6 hollow plates (17 pieces in total)
The wing is richly decorated with six cartouches with brick background imitating cameos and presenting hunting, poetic or musical attributes, alternating with the figure of Louis-Philippe stamped with the royal crown. Each cartouche alternating with scrolls of acanthus leaves and oak leaves occupied with boars, eagle deer, fallow deer, and hunting dogs
The basin is centered with a star pattern on a stylized scroll background
