France’s top art award has been presented to Mimosa Echard whose multidisciplinary practice combines the surreal, mechanical and terrestrial in pursuit of plant and human symbiosis. Echard has a research-led practice that draws on painting, ceramics and video games. The prize includes €35,000 ($41,000).
