On February 19 at Philocale, the hammer came down at €207,000 for the small format painted in 1974 by the Franco-Chinese artist, found in a house near Orleans. The Zao Wou-ki Committee had confirmed the authenticity of the work, initially estimated at €80,000-120,000, from the Giraud collection.
