A major piece in Alfred Janniot's corpus, a torso of his wife will be offered €25,000/26,000 by Mirabaud Mercier on June 16, in Room 15 at Drouot. The sculptor worked on this model between 1927 and 1929, just after the success of the Hommage à Jean Goujon at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs in 1925.
