Anger After New York School Tears Down Progressive Student Mural

The controversy sparked after a Park Slope elementary school removed a student mural without explanation. It had contained phrases like “Black Trans Lives Matter”, “Equity” and “Pride”. Frank Giordano, principal at the neighboring school, said the piece was overtly political and inappropriate for the school. (NYP)
